Clearly, Eastern Cape boxers Ayanda Ndulani and Siphamandla Baleni cannot get enough of each other inside the ring as they are due to face off for the third time.

Ndulani will be defending his International Boxing Organisation (IBO) minimumweight title against Baleni at a Xaba Boxing Promotions tournament at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC) on Friday, 29 July.

The two boxers clashed against each other as recently as November last year with Ndulani emerging victorious thanks to a split decision.

However, there was a lot of noise made after that fight as some boxing fans believed that former South African junior-flyweight and minimumweight champion Baleni had done enough to dethrone Ndulani.

Judges Siphiwo Mbini and Tony Nyangiwe scored the fight 116-112 and 117-111 respectively for Ndulani while Lulama Mtya had Baleni winning by 114-118.

Meanwhile, Baleni outpointed Ndulani the first time they met in a World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa minimumweight title fight in June 2019.
