Angolan boxer Cristiano Ndombassy made a spectacle of Nkhensahosi Makondo from Limpopo at the Meropa Casino in Polokwane on Sunday.
The tough Angolan was too much for Makondo as he stopped him in the 10th round during their World Boxing Federation (WBF) International junior-middleweight title fight.
Meanwhile, former world champion Lusanda Komanisi laboured to a unanimous points win over Amani Bariki from Tanzania in the main supporting bout.
This was an uninspiring performance by Komanisi despite successfully defending his World Boxing Association (WBA) Pan-African lightweight title.
