Senegal defeated Uganda 2-0 in their opening Group A match in a Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, on Sunday evening.
Ndeye Diakhate and Nguenar Ndiaye scored for the West Africans in both halves of the match.
Senegal are now going to face Burkina Faso in a West African derby while Uganda clash with hosts Morocco in their next match.
