Banyana Banyana got off to a flying start sat the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations defeating the Nigerian Super Falcons 2-1 at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, on Monday evening.
Jermaine Seoposenwe opened the scoring in the 61st minute and two minutes later Hilda Magaia added the second goal.
The Super Falcons pulled one back through Rasheedat Ajibade in added time.
Banyana are going to face Burundi on Thursday while the Super Falcons clash with Botswana on the same day.
