Banyana Banyana kept a 100 percent record in the group stages at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament as they beat Botswana 1-0 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, on Sunday evening.
Second half substitute Nthabiseng Majiya, who came on for Thembi Kgatlana in the 70th minute, scored the all-important goal, which gave Banyana victory, 10 minutes before full-time.
Banyana started the tournament with a bang beating the Nigerian Super Falcons 2-1 and then followed that victory with a 3-1 win over Burundi in the second match.
