Bafana Bafana and SuperSport United captain Ronwen Williams has joined Mamelodi Sundowns from Matsatsantsa a Pitori.
Gqeberha-born Williams has signed a five-year contract with the Tshwane giants becoming the third Matsatsantsa player to join the Brazilians in less than a year.
Williams’ former Matsatsantsa teammates Teboho Mokoena and Sipho Mbule are already on the books of Sundowns.
The 30-year-old former Premier Soccer League (PSL) Goalkeeper of the Season award winner is set to fly to Durban to join his new teammates on Thursday.
