Anye Derick Fru, a goalkeeper from Cameroon, is going to join Maritzburg United and fill the gap created by Marcel Engelhardt’s departure.
Derick Fru is a free agent after the expiry of his contract with Cameroon club Cotonsport de Garuoa whom he helped win their 17th league title. He travelled to South Africa on Friday evening.
The 27-year-old Derick Fru kept 14 clean sheets and conceded eight goals in 20 matches for Cotonsport.
