Duncan Village boxer Sikho Moshani is quietly confident as he finalises his preparations for Friday’s South African title challenge against current national junior-flyweight champion Mpumelelo Tshabalala.
Moshani will attempt to wrestle the junior-flyweight crown away from Tshabalala when they clash at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC).
“He’s coming here to bring the title to me. I saw what he did to Magusha. I’m not afraid of him. We have done a lot while preparing for this fight and I’m going to win it on Friday,” Moshani boldly stated.
The 24-year-old Moshani has five victories with two knockouts and two defeats compared to Tshabalala’s six wins (four stoppages) and a loss.
Meanwhile, Tshabalala from Katlehong in Ekurhuleni will be making the first defence of the title he captured when he stopped Xolisa Magusha in the fifth round at the same East London venue in March this year.
