Royal AM have advanced to the semi-finals of the KZN Premier’s Cup after a 7-6 win over DStv Premiership newcomers Richards Bay FC at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban, on Saturday.
This quarter-final clash was decided on spot kicks after Thwihli Thwahla and the Natal Rich Boyz had played to a 1-1 draw.
The Natal Rich Boyz were the first to score through Somila Ntsundwana and Thwihli Thwahla’s Tebogo Potsane levelled the matters in regulation time.
Meanwhile, the second quarter-final match between Uthongathi FC against Maritzburg United is going to start at 14h00.
