Simnikiwe Bongco has advanced to the semi-finals at the Commonwealth Games currently underway in Birmingham, England.
This comes after Bongco defeated Kemrond Moses from Grenada in a middleweight quarter-final bout on Wednesday evening.
The 21-year-old Bongco from Duncan Village in East London is guaranteed a medal now that he is in the semi-finals.
