Newly-promoted KwaZulu-Natal side Richards Bay FC have acquired the services of experienced midfielder Luvuyo Memela.
The 34-year-old Cape Town-born Memela, who once played for Orlando Pirates, was released by AmaZulu in June.
The Natal Rich Boyz have also announced that 29-year-old Katleho Maphathe from Botshabelo is their captain.
Meanwhile, Vasili Manousakis, who joined the team from AmaZulu in June, is going to be co-coach together with Pitso Dladla.
The Natal Rich Boyz open the 2022/23 season with an away clash against Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, Durban, on Saturday.
