Veteran striker Bernard Parker has joined TS Galaxy on a two-year contract after he was dumped by Kaizer Chiefs two months ago.
The 36-year-old Parker from Boksburg in Ekurhuleni joined the Rockets on Saturday. It was thought that Parker would join SuperSport United after spending some time training with Matsatsantsa a Pitori.
“We are delighted to have secured Parker’s signature. He is a valuable addition to our thin squad. He has been a loyal servant of the game for many years and has still a lot to contribute within our set-up. His record speaks for itself and we are looking forward to great success together,” Rockets president Tim Sukazi remarked.
Parker, who scored 23 times in 73 Bafana Bafana appearances, said: “I’m happy to join TS Galaxy. This is an ambitious club and I want to contribute to the club’s success.”
