Ayanda Nkosi has done everything at the gym and is now ready for whatever his opponent Carlo Magali from the Philippines will throw at him.

Nkosi is set to defend his World Boxing Federation (WBF) lightweight title against the Filipino champion at the Ngoako Ramathlodi Sports Complex in Seshego, Polokwane, this coming Sunday.

“We are ready to go. Nkosi’s weight is spot on, very happy and very fit. We are ready for 12 rounds and to win impressively,” Nkosi’s trainer Colin ‘Nomakanjani’ Nathan said.

Nathan added that they have seen videos of Magali and Nkosi, a former South African lightweight champion, knows what to expect from the Filipino boxer.

“I have seen the footage of him. He’s short, quite aggressive on the front foot. He’s gonna come straight forward. He attacks in straight lines, we are ready for that,” Nathan remarked.
