England defeated the Proteas 2-1 in the three-match Test series, which was concluded on Monday. 

This comes after England beat Proteas by nine wickets in the third and final Test match held at The Oval.

England went on to the crease on Monday chasing 33 runs to win the third Test. England only lost one wicket – Alex Lees – in their second innings.

Zak Crawley was outstanding with the bat knocking 69 from 57 balls while Ollie Pope hit 11 in 10 deliveries.

England bowler Ollie Robinson walked away with the Player of the Match award for his seven wickets. Robinson only gave away 89 runs.

Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada’s 14 wickets, including the five-wicket haul at Lord’s in the first Test, won him the Player of the Series award.
