Lusanda ‘Mexican’ Komanisi is promising to bring a halt to Tshifhiwa ‘Atomic Spider’ Munyai’s reign as a South African lightweight champion on Saturday evening.
Komanisi from Mdantsane challenges Munyai at the Emperor’s Palace in Kempton Park on Saturday evening.
“We are ready for this fight. Munyai can say whatever he wants to say, talk is cheap. We are coming for him,” Komanisi said.
Makwarela-born Munyai will be making a fourth defence of his title having defeated Aphiwe Mboyiya, Sanele Msimang and Khaya Busakwe already.
“Everything is on point now. If the fight goes to 12 rounds, I’m fit. If it goes to a knockout, I’m there for it. Munyai is going to fall on Saturday,” Komanisi said.
The former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) and SA featherweight champion goes to the Munyai fight on the back of five straight wins with four of those ending in knockouts.
On the other hand, Munyai has also won her last fights and two of those were stoppages.
