At last, Orlando Pirates have registered a win after they beat Lamontville Golden Arrows 2-0 in an away DStv Premiership match at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, Durban, on Tuesday evening.
Pirates’ long-awaited victory came courtesy of Monnapule Saleng’s first half brace. Saleng, formerly with Swallows FC and Free State Stars, scored his first goal in the sixth minute and completed his brace in the 24th minute.
This victory came after the Buccaneers had only collected two points in their last three matches.
