Mamelodi Sundowns registered their sixth straight win when they walloped Royal AM 3-0 in a DStv Premiership clash at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban on Saturday evening.
It looked like the two teams were going to be goalless at the end of the first half until Neo Maema netted for the Brazilians just before the last whistle of the stanza.
Cassius Mailula doubled the Tshwane giants’ lead when he scored in the 85th minute. This was Mailula’s third goal in three appearances.
Four minutes later, Bradley Ralani made it 3-0 scoring the Brazilians’ eighth goal in the last two matches. The Brazilians whipped Maritzburg United 5-0 midweek.
Meanwhile, the DStv Premiership champions’ next match is against Orlando Pirates on Saturday, 31 December.
