Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies got off to a positive start at the CAF Women’s Champion League in Morocco on Monday evening.
The Sundowns Ladies defeated Bayelsa Queens from Nigeria 2-1 in their opening match at the Marrakech Stadium in Ouahat Sidi Brahim.
Sundowns’ goals came courtesy of a brace from Lelona Daweti while Mary-Magdalene Anjor netted for the Nigerian side.
