Kenshiro Teraji is a unified world junior-flyweight champion after he stopped his Japanese compatriot Hiroto Kyoguchi in the seventh round at the Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, on Tuesday.
Teraji’s speed and power were his main weapons as he overwhelmed Kyoguchi to become a Ring Magazine, World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Association (WBA) ‘Super’ junior-flyweight champion.
The 30-year-old Teraji improved his record to 20 wins with 12 of those coming from knockouts against one defeat. On the other hand, 28-year-old Kyoguchi dropped to 16 victories (11 knockouts) and a loss.
