A clinical Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies were too strong for Wadi Degla from Egypt whipping them 5-0 in a CAF Women’s Champions League Group B match at the Marrakech Stadium, Ouahat Sidi Brahim, in Morocco on Thursday evening. 

The Brazilians, who are the reigning African champions, led 2-0 at half-time through goals scored by Lelona Daweti in the 10th minute and Melinda Kgadiete in the 25th minute.  

Sundowns started the second half by taking the match to the Egyptians and Boitumelo Rabale made it 3-0 from a free kick on the hour mark. Five minutes later, Rabale completed her brace with a grass cutter. 

The Brazilians were not done yet as they added another goal through Bambanani Mbane’s header in the 76th minute to bury the Egyptian champions.
