Busy top South African ring official Deon Dwarte is set to officiate in two fights involving six world titles in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday.

Cape Town-based Dwarte is going to be one of the judges when Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov from Tajikistan fights against Briton Zelfa Barrett at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Rakhimov and Barrett fight in a vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-lightweight title contest.

The experienced ring official will also be one of the judges in the female bout between Chantelle Cameron from the United Kingdom and American Jessica McCaskill in the same tournament.

Five world titles are going to be at stake when unbeaten Cameron and McCaskill clash against each other. They are going to fight for the World Boxing Council  (WBC) and IBF junior-welterweight titles.

The two lasses are also going to fight for the World Boxing Association  (WBA), World Boxing Organisation  (WBO) and International Boxing Organisation (IBO) titles junior-welterweight crowns, which are all vacant.

Dwarte returned to South Africa last Saturday after attending the WBO convention in Puerto Rico. He was back in action the following day officiating when Nhlanhla ‘Mount Kilimanjaro’ Tyirha’s defeated Filipino boxer Orlie Silvester in a vacant IBF Intercontinental junior-flyweight title fight at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC).
