Mamelodi Sundowns made playing football look easy as they defeated AmaZulu 3-0 in a Carling Black Label Cup semi-final match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday morning.
The Brazilians raced to an early lead through Cassius Mailula whose shot deflected off Usuthu captain Makhehleni Makhaula before kissing the back of the net in the fifth minute.
Sundowns made it 2-0 when Haashim Domingo beat Usuthu goalkeeper Veli Mothwa following a nice pass from Gaston Sirino in the 69th minute.
Coach Rulani Mokwena’s boys continued to search for more goals and Bradley Ralani chipped the ball over Mothwa for the Tshwane giants’ third goal in the 73rd minute after a Sirino pass.
Sundowns are now going to play in the final against the winner of the Kaizer Chiefs-Orlando Pirates match, which starts at 12h15. The final is scheduled to start at 17h00.
