Fadluraghman ‘Fadlu’ Davids has returned as struggling Maritzburg United coach taking over the position left vacant by last month’s firing of John Maduka.
The Malawian was given his marching orders after the Team of Choice’s poor run, which saw them being stuck at the bottom of the DStv Premiership standings with 11 points from 13 matches.
The 41-year-old Cape Town-born Davids, who is making a return to a team he left in December 2018, rejoins the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands club after he was fired by Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow.
Davids’ first match back at the Team of Choice is going to be against TS Galaxy at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Friday, 30 December.
