Croatia won a bronze medal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar after they beat Morocco 2-1 in a third and fourth play-off at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha on Saturday evening.

Two goals were scored inside the first 10 minutes of the match with Josko Gvardiol’s diving header giving the Croats the lead in the seventh minute.

Two minutes later, the Atlas Lions equalised through Achraf Dari’s header after Hakim Ziyech’s free kick.

The Croats regained their lead when Mislav Oršić’s wonderful curler hit the upright before the ball rolled into the back of the net.
