Jackson ‘M3’ Chauke has laughed off Phumelela ‘Truth’ Cafu’s prediction that he’s going to stop him when they fight at the Orient Theatre in East London this coming Friday.

Chauke has moved up to the junior-bantamweight division just to clash with Cafu in a rematch after the two boxers drew at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC) in March this year.

“He’s dreaming, I’m going to wake him up on Friday. It’s only three days before I wake him up from his dreams. I have worked very hard for everything I have,” Chauke said on Tuesday.

The 37-year-old Chauke who is based in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni, will, after this upcoming fight, return to the flyweight division where he is the reigning South African champion.

“What he has forgotten is that boxers before him have threatened to beat me and failed. I will make sure he doesn’t have it easy inside the ring. I’m going to punish him so much that he won’t enjoy his Christmas. This boy is disrespectful. Victory will be mine on Friday,” Chauke said.

Chauke has won 22 fights (15 knockouts), lost once and drawn three times. His only loss came in a fight against the late Lwandile Sityata. On the other hand, Cafu has seven victories and all his wins came via stoppages. He has also drawn three fights.
