Kaizer Chiefs came back from the FIFA World Cup break and beat Lamontville Golden Arrows 2-0 in a DStv Premiership clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday afternoon.
Amakhosi took the lead when Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana opened the scoring after he beat Arrows goalkeeper Sifiso Mlungwana with a low shot in the 14th minute for his seventh goal of the season.
Mozambican Edmilson Dove made it 2-0 seven minutes before the half-time break after the Abafana Bes’thende defence failed to clear the ball following a corner kick.
Abafana Bes’thende finished the game with 10 men after match referee Xola Sitela red carded Siyabonga Khumalo in added time. Khumalo has replaced Sazi Gumbi at the beginning of the second half.
