Khanyisa Mayo is bracing himself for a tough clash as his team Cape Town City face Orlando Pirates in a DStv Premiership match at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday (17h30).
The Citizens will go to this encounter on the back of a 1-0 home defeat to SuperSport United on Tuesday evening.
“I think it’s a big one coming up against Orlando Pirates at our backyard. As much as they’re coming to collect maximum points, so we also want maximum points in our own backyard. It’s gonna be an end-to-end game. It’s a big one,” the Mthatha-born Citizens striker said.
The Citizens, who finished second on the log last season, are 11th on the Premiership table having won four times, drawn four and lost six matches.
On the other hand, Pirates, who are smarting from a 2-0 away loss to log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, are fifth on the Premiership standings with 19 points from 14 matches.
The Buccaneers have not been sharp in front of goals as they have scored nine times and conceded the same number of goals.
