Defending Nedbank Cup champions Mamelodi Sundowns start the defence of their trophy with a clash against Richards Bay FC as confirmed in Thursday’s draw held in Johannesburg.
The four-time Nedbank Cup champions have a home game in the repeat of last season’s first round against the Natal Rich Boyz.
Maritzburg United and Kaizer Chiefs were drawn against each other in the first round of the competition while Stellenbosch FC face Swallows FC at home and Cape Town City will welcome Royal AM.
