Stellenbosch FC scored a late goal to earn a 2-1 win over Chippa United in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors from the Cape Winelands led 1-0 at half-time after Devin Titus beat Chilli Boys goalkeeper Loydt Kazapua in the 26th minute.
The Chilli Boys started the second half by taking the game to Stellies and their efforts bore fruits when Trevor Mathiane headed in the equaliser on the hour mark.
Iqraam Rayners, who returned from SuperSport United this week, scored Stellies’ winning goal in referee’s added time.
