Stellenbosch FC whipped Swallows FC 3-0 in a Nedbank Cup last-32 match at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town on Saturday afternoon.
Vusi Sibiya gave Stellies the lead in the eighth minute and Iqraam Rayners doubled the Cape Winelands side’s lead nine minutes later.
Rayners, who rejoined Stellies from SuperSport United last week, completed his brace in the 58th minute.
Meanwhile, Lamontville Golden Arrows defeated Motsepe Foundation Championship side 2-1 Pretoria Callies 2-1 in another Nedbank Cup clash.
