TS Galaxy moved to seventh place on the DStv Premiership standings following a 2-1 win over AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday evening.

Ivorian Djakaridja Traore opened the scoring from the penalty spot beating Usuthu goalkeeper and captain Veli Mothwa in the 35th minute. Match referee Christopher Kistoor awarded the Rockets the penalty after Thembela Sikhakhane had fouled Sphiwe Mahlangu inside the box.

Traore, who joined the Rockets from Czech side SK Rakovnic in September last year, completed his brace when he made it 2-0 in the 55th minute.

Junior Sede Dion halved the deficit when he scored from a rebound after Keagan Buchanan’s attempt was saved by Rockets goalkeeper Vasilije Kolak in the 85th minute.
