Enathi Stelle didn’t sweat that much during his successful defence of the Eastern Cape junior-bantamweight title against Bagcine Gowa at the Thobi Kula Indoor Sport Centre in Komani on Saturday afternoon.

Stelle from Mdantsane dispatched Gowa in the first round making sure that boxing fans returned home early from the flood-ravaged Komani.

Meanwhile, former South African minimumweight champion Xolisa Magusha disappointed his home fans when he lost to Sikho Moshani from Duncan Village.

Sada-born Magusha was stopped in the fourth round by Moshani for his third loss in his last four fights. Magusha suffered a fourth round stoppage loss to current SA junior-flyweight champion Mpumelelo Tshabalala at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC) in March last year and also lost to Athenkosi Thongwana at the Orient Theatre in July.
