Marumo Gallants moved to 14th position on the log after they defeated Chippa United 3-1 in a DStv Premiership match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday evening.
The Chilli Boys’ hopes of winning the match were lifted when they scored first through their Nigerian forward Etiosa Igodaro in the 34th minute.
However, things changed in the second half as Ranga Chivaviro netted a hattrick. Chivaviro equalised from the penalty spot seven minutes after the break.
Three minutes later, Chivaviro gave Gallants the lead after he converted another penalty and he completed his hattrick in the 71st minute.
