The South African Football Association (SAFA) finally confirmed the resignation of its chief executive officer Tebogo Motlanthe on Saturday afternoon.
The 41-year-old Motlanthe resigned from SAFA on Friday evening following some disagreements with the football body’s hierarchy.
In a statement released on Saturday afternoon, SAFA said that its president Danny Jordaan will meet Motlanthe on Saturday evening before the organisation’s emergency meeting on Sunday.
