In-form Stellenbosch FC striker Iqraam Rayners has won the DStv Premiership Player of the Month award for the second time this season.
The 27-year-old Rayners bagged the April Player of the Month award after he scored four goals in three matches. Rayners netted a brace in matches against Swallows FC and Lamontville Golden Arrows.
Rayners beat Khanyisa Mayo from Cape Town City, Marumo Gallants’ Ranga Chivaviro and Kabelo Dlamini from Orlando Pirates to the award.
Meanwhile, Pirates mentor Jose Riveiro walked away with the April Coach of the Month award beating Raymond Mdaka from Gallants and Stellies coach Steve Barker.
The Spaniard, who won the same award in August, led the Buccaneers to victories over Richards Bay FC, Chippa United, Cape Town City and TS Galaxy.
