A merciless TS Galaxy made things very difficult for relegation-threatened Chippa United when they beat them 4-0 in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Saturday afternoon.
Kamogelo Sebelebele gave the Rockets the lead in the 33rd minute. And the 19-year-old Sebelebele doubled the Rockets’ lead seven minutes into the second half.
Masilakhe Phohlongo made it 3-0 two minutes before full-time and Nkosikhona Radebe scored the Rockets’ fourth goal in referee’s added time.
This defeat is a massive blow to the Chilli Boys’ hopes of retaining their Premier Division status as they are 15th on the log with one match to go before they wrap up their season.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs lost their 11th match of the season after they were beaten 1-0 by SuperSport United through Gamphani Lungu’s 40th minute goal at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in Phokeng, Rustenburg.
