Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced a 34-member preliminary squad, which is dominated by Mamelodi Sundowns players, ahead of next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Morocco in Johannesburg.
Championship-winning Sundowns players who made it into the preliminary squad are Ronwen Williams, Thapelo Morena, Aubrey Modiba, Grant Kekana, Khuliso Mudau, Mothobi Mvala, Teboho Mokoena, Sphelele Mkhulise, Themba Zwane and Cassius Mailula.
Meanwhile, Stellenbosch FC forward Iqraam Rayners has also made it into the squad following brilliant performances since rejoining the Cape Winelands side from SuperSport United in January this year.
