Boxing South Africa (BSA) has confirmed that fight fans will soon know who the nominees of the South African Boxing Awards are.
The boxing regulatory body is going to make a public announcement at a media briefing scheduled for the Proteas Hotel in Umhlanga Rocks, Durban, at 9am on Wednesday.
The boxing awards are making a come back to the fistic sport calendar after an absence of four years. The last SA Boxing Awards ceremony was held at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, in May 2019.
This year’s awards ceremony is pencilled for Friday, 30 June at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban with the period under review being between 1 April 2022 and 31 March this.
