Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has selected a 36-member preliminary squad to prepare for the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament, which is going to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

The tournament on Australasia is going to start on Thursday, 20 July and come to an end on Sunday, 20 August. 

Meanwhile, Louisville FC striker Thembi Kgatlana has made her Banyana return after almost a year, Ellis has no place for Janine Van Wyk in her squad.
