AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu on Monday morning confirmed the signing of Celimpilo Ngema, who played for relegated Marumo Gallants last season.
The 25-year-old Ngema joined Usuthu after having signed a pre-contract with the Durban side in January.
Meanwhile, Zungu also announced that Frenchman Romain Folz had resigned as AmaZulu technical director while Ayanda Dlamini, who was in charge of the team on their last matches, veteran striker Lehlohonolo Major have also left the club.
