Dordrecht-born boxer Lunga ‘Pressure Cooker’ Sitimela is the new World Boxing Federation (WBF) junior-lightweight champion after he registered his third straight win.

Cape Town-based Sitemela won the title after Steve Bagwasi dislocated his left shoulder in the third round during their fight at the Grand Palm Hotel and Casino Convention Centre in Gaborone, Botswana, on Friday evening.

Bagwasi, who was born in Mahalapye, Botswana, was attempting to make the first successful defence of the title he won when he defeated Tanzanian Saidi Chino in August last year.
