Percy Tau has made history by becoming the first South African player to win two CAF Champions League trophies after his team Al Ahly beat Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club 3-2 on aggregate on Sunday evening.
The Red Devils drew 1-1 with Wydad at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco, after they had won 2-1 in the first leg in Cairo last Sunday.
The 29-year-old Bafana Bafana star, who was born in Emalahleni in Mpumalanga, first won a CAF Champions League gold medal with his former club Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016.
