Former Bafana Bafana striker Shaun Bartlett has done it again as he led Cape Town Spurs to the Premier Division following a goalless draw with Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The 50-year-old Urban Warriors coach, who once played for Spurs, Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic, helped Lamontville Golden Arrows gain promotion to the Premier Division during the 2014/15 season.
After missing out on automatic promotion as they finished second on the Motsepe Foundation Championship behind eventual winners Polokwane City, Spurs had to do it via the PSL Promotion/Relegation play-offs.
The Urban Warriors collected 10 points after they won three games and drawn once with the Team of Choice winning twice, drawing once and losing one match.
