Just a few days after leaving Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli Saudi, Pitso Mosimane has been appointed as Al Wahda new coach in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Mosimane helped Al Ahli returned to the Saudi Pro League after they finished on top of the Saudi First Division standings this past season.
“Al Wahda Football Club Company announces the completion of contracting procedures with Mr Pitso Mosimane in order to technically lead the first team,” an Al Wahda statement said on Saturday evening.
The 58-year-old former Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns coach will be expected to push Al Wahda further after they finished third last season. Al Wahda are four-time UAE Pro League champions.
