Limpopo club Black Leopards are back in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) after they bought the status of Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) side All Stars.
Lidoda Duvha’s return to the MFC after they were relegated at the end of the past season was announced at a press conference in Polokwane on Friday morning.
It was also announced that veteran football administrator David Thidiela will become Lidoda Duvha president while his son Chief Thidiela is the club’s chairman.
Meanwhile, the Lidoda Duvha bosses are looking for a coach to take charge of the team next season while Malawian Peter Mponda had been appointed as the assistant.
Before agreeing to come to Leopards, Mponda had been working at Malawian TNM Super League champions FCB Nyasa Bullets as an assistant coach. Mponda, who has a CAF B coaching license, played for Leopards and Santos in South Africa.
