In surprise move, Kaizer Chiefs announced Molefi Ntseki as their new head coach replacing Arthur Zwane on Wednesday evening.
In what Chiefs bosses termed restricturing, Amakhosi were forced to replace Zwane after he failed to bring glory to the Naturena-based side last season.
“I fully accept this huge responsibility that the chairman, our board of directors and the club have bestowed on me with humility and respect. I thank them for their confidence and belief in me to become the captain of the ship. I look forward to working with everyone involved in the technical team to bring joy to our millions of Amakhosi supporters around the world,” Ntseki said.
The 53-year-old Ntseki, a former Bafana Bafana coach, joined Amakhosi as their technical director last season. He is going to be assisted by Zwane and Dillon Sheppard now that he’s the head coach.
Meanwhile, Chiefs also announced the return of their former goalkeeper coach Rainer Dinkelacker as strategic adviser in the goalkeeping department.
