Zambia’s Chipolopolo are going to play against Lesotho in the final of the 2023 COSAFA Cup on Sunday.
This followed after the Zambians defeated Bafana Bafana 2-1 in a semi-final encounter at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban, on Friday evening.
After trying for the better part of the first half, Bafana broke the deadlock through Tshegofatso Mabasa a minute before the half-time break.
Five minutes into the second half, Golden Mashata equalised for Chipolopolo and Albert Kangwanda netted Zambia’s second goal from a curled free kick in the 69th minute.
