SuperSport United announced the capture of veteran goalkeeper Washington Arubi from relegated Marumo Gallants on Wednesday.
Zimbabwe-born Arubi, who is turning 38 next month, is beginning his second stint at Matsatsantsa a Pitori after he signed a one-year contract with an option to renew. Arubi rejoined Matsatsantsa after his failed move to Limpopo side Sekhukhune United.
“Matsatsantsa are very pleased to confirm the signature of Washington Arubi from Marumo Gallants on a one-year deal with an option to extend,” a Matsatsantsa statement said.
Meanwhile, Matsatsantsa also signed Tanzanian central defender Abdurazak Mohamed Hamza on a one-year contract.
