Zambia’s Copper Queens have been knocked out of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament even before they played their third group stages match.
This came after the Copper Queens received yet another heavy beating as they were walloped 5-0 by Spain on Wednesday. This was the second match the Zambians lost by five unanswered goals as they suffered the same fate against Japan last week.
Jennifer Hermoso and Alba Redondo scored a brace each with the other goal coming from Teresa Abelleria to take the Spaniards to the next round of the tournament.
