Canada dumped the Republic of Ireland out of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup finals when they beat them 2-1 in a Group B match at the Perth Rectangular Stadium on Wednesday.
The Canadians’ goals came from Megan Connolly’s own goal and strike from Adriana Leon while Kati McCabe netted for the Irish.
